If you choose this route, follow these rules:

  • Rotate modes of action to prevent resistance
  • Only use products labeled for use on your crop in your jurisdiction
  • Follow pre-harvest intervals and safety instructions carefully

Step-by-step treatment plan I use and recommend

This is a practical sequence that worked for my indoor and outdoor grows.

  • Day 1: Isolate plants, prune badly affected leaves, wash plants thoroughly.
  • Days 1–7: Start biological control (predatory mites) and apply insecticidal soap every 3–4 days to reduce numbers.

  • Quarantine new plants for at least two weeks and inspect closely.
  • Keep humidity and air circulation steady, especially in tents.
  • Inspect plants regularly with a loupe; early detection is everything.
